Data deletion
Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Draft for legal review
You can remove your data from Social Engine at any time. Choose whichever option fits.
Disconnect a single account
In Social Engine, open Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect next to the account. We delete its access token immediately and stop collecting data from it. Posts already published on the platform stay there; delete them on the platform if you want them gone.
You can also revoke access from the platform itself:
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then remove Social Engine. Meta notifies us automatically and we delete the data we hold for that Facebook user within 30 days.
- Google and YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions, then remove Social Engine.
- LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Pinterest: the connected apps section of that platform's settings.
Delete a workspace
An organisation owner can open Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace. The workspace disappears immediately. Its content, media, connected-account data and analytics are permanently removed within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.
Delete your account or organisation
Email hello@involvedigital.com from the address you sign in with, using the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want your personal account or your whole organisation deleted. We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.
What we keep
We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires (currently seven years in Australia), and our audit log keeps a record that a deletion happened, without the deleted content.
